About Melanie

Melanie is a photographer based in Auckland, New Zealand. Her career commenced with formal education in Photography at Unitec. Since then, she has had an amazing career running her own photography studio, specialising in freelance photography for advertising, magazines, and design studios. Melanie's latest art photography has been featured in galleries both in NZ and Europe. 

The Ibiza Story

I have known Mel for over 15 years after working as a stylist with her on many magazines and advertising shoots. We became great friends. I have always loved her easygoing nature and creativity. So when the opportunity came up to go to Barcelona, Spain, with Mel for a gallery opening in which her new art photography would be featured, I jumped at the chance.

Straight away, I knew that we had to have a few days in Ibiza along the way. Ibiza has been a great inspiration for me for many years when creating the Indie Home aesthetic. So, to have Mel capture its beauty through her creative eye is something I'm really excited and proud to display in store. - Claudia, Creative Director
